The number of visitors and the prolonged echo in the press for the opening of Villa Necchi-Campiglio, donated to FAI in 2001 and now museum, are the result of a successful renewal project that combines a long architectural restoration with a program of cultural activities in tune with the atmosphere of the place.
Villa Necchi reveals visitors an authentic glimpse of the lifestyle of the owners, a Lombardy industrial bourgeoisie family, and at the same time it gives the city a space for exhibitions, events fashion shows and even a movie set.
