Polythecnic University of Milan, Urban Centre, Monza
The 2006/2007 Interior Design Lab was focused on the development of innovative design concepts for a tourist accommodation structure to be placed in the former industrial complex of Cotonificio Cederna located in Monza, which was rethought as a service-system project for new advanced hospitality facilities for the several local manufacturer companies in Brianza.
Our Interior Design Courses have been dealing with hospitality for several years aiming to generate new hotel concepts that foresee the dynamics of tourism so to design hospitality spaces in line with the market trends and cultural values of contemporary society.
The exhibition of the students' work was held at the Urban Center in Monza, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, with the contribution of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Monza and with the patronage of the Province of Monza and Brianza.
