"Pierre bleue" is a limestone rock of great quality and strength, already used by many centuries in Belgian regional architecture. Like other stone materials that we discussed in this magazine (ME 73 Brazilian slate, ME 75 Norwegian quartzite), Blue Stone of Belgium is a typical local resource that got international fame thanks to some high-quality projects in the field of architecture and interior design. Excellent performances allow many applications in interiors and in all weather conditions, also thanks to the easy manual and machine workability.
